He's a brilliant scientist and contributes greatly through that. Soul Society doesn't have the luxury to be able to throw him aside for mere moral opinion, considering all the enemies they have.

The real reason why Itachi never had time for Sasuke was because he was too busy spending his time with Uryuu Ishida.

Ishida's personality, story is so similar to Sasuke's. I keep hearing Sasuke's voice since they both have the same VA.

Yea both are similar but at the same time they are nothing alike. Uryuu doesn't really care about the quincies other than those he's related to and he for sure doesn't care about avenging them.
Also he hates soul reapers only for his own personal reasons rather than in relation to the quincy annihilation at the hands of soul reapers.
